The Neruda Quartet was chosen to represent the Royal Academy of Music at the First International Orchestral and Chamber Music Symposium in Tianjin, China, an event that brought together ensembles from institutions around the world. Their programme includes Haydn’s Op.33 Quartet, full of fun, Mendelssohn’s richly romantic E flat Quartet and concludes with the Bohemian warmth and vigour of a quartet by Dvorak.
