Guy Johnston has a wide-ranging international career and has been a regular performer at the BBC Proms. He is joined by his regular duo partner, Melvyn Tan, who has his own world-wide reputation, for a programme which includes one of Beethoven’s tribute to Mozart, Schubert’s wistful and virtuosic sonata written for a five-string cello, and a vigorous Sonata by Mendelssohn.
